I have not been blogging properly for months now, truth is I can't recall much. Ahhh... The monotony of school life, wake up, breakfast, school, tuition, dinner, homework, sleep. I owe my teacher(s) homework and consent forms. On top of it all, my aunt is pestering me to go for Chinese tuition twice a week, like that's possible. Firstly, I don't want to go twice because it's really cutting into my "me" time, secondly, I really have no more time to slot in another tuition session, and finally, studies have shown that as long as you hate the subject, you'll never do well in it no matter how many tuition sessions you've been to. Wake up Brendan, you've gotta get outta your slumber, this ain't no honeymoon, "O"s are next year. Do you want to go to HCI? Buck up man, pass your damn MT, get an "A" for English, Sciences, both Maths and your Humanities. I used to be taking these so-called "leaps of faith" where I've plunged into total and complete ignorance of upcoming tests, it worked 99.9%. Now, it's all down to elbow-grease. No more leaping, no more slacking, it's total war, war against all subjects. This is my own personal declaration of this year's EOYs. I, Brendan Tan of 3E1'11, hereby solemnly and sincerely swear that I shall get an A2 for my EL paper 2, A1 for AMaths, A1 for Physics and A1 for Biology. If not, my computer shall be taken away from me until I get the desired marks in the next round of tests. Until next time, this is me, signing off for probably the last time this year.
