Cool, I'm blogging in the afternoon at 12.15. I actually woke up at 9 but I went back to sleep and woke up at 11 instead. Anyways, we had the first aid course on Saturday and yesterday. It was alll pretty basic, like recovery position, CPR, bandaging etc.etc. Funny thing happened yesterday, we just had lunch outside and by we I mean Victor, Ming Hong and I. We were on our way back to school when we saw some guys doing someting to a tree, turns out they were going to smoke out the bees. Anyway we asked a couple of sec 4s and one of them said they were going to burn the hive. They just smoked it, I think the smoke was laced with pesticide. Anyway, we stood back and watched. It all happened in slow motion. The pest controller smoked the tree, we heard buzzing and saw a large black mass expanding out of the tree. We all shouted "run!!!" and shot off in different directions. Victor and I hug back abit to see the retreat of the bees, Ming Hong ran all the way back into the eco garden. Victor and I ran back into the DC area and watched the bees, we hung back and saw the bees drop one by one into the parade square, like if 6 whole squadrons of minute planes attacked the school and the anti-aircraft guns managed to shoot them all down. So when the bees were grounded, we heard buzzing and actually the scene was kinda fantasy-like. Anyway the teachers all came out. The rest of the first aid students joked about not treating bee stings but being able to resuscitate the bees. Going to watch Thor later.
