POC ' 09

So sad! Yesterday our NCOs pass out(not the pass out as in faint, the other one) and I think I am getting too attached to them, especially Quenton, the most enthusiastic NCO in the whole cohort. This is what happened during the concert, first, group 2 did their dance and then the sec 3s did their un-armed combat, now that was good! At least you could see some ass kicking. Finally it was group 1's turn to dance which included me.Did some funny stuff then when I did my solo, the robot, that was embarrasing until the NCOs clapped and cheered. Another guy, sec 2 also come out according to the plan and did some hand synchro thing that looked like he was waterbending without water. Then they give out the certificates to the NCOs and showed us A LAST MINUTE PRODUCTION BY THE NCOs themselves. The warning part was funny. WARNING, this video includes shouting, talking to the floor, pumping etc.etc. and a partially true warning note or something. The video was funny, it was a shortened version of the life of a NPCC cadet but without the talking to the floor. there was one part where the so-called CI came out in slow motion with the Darth Vader music and shouted at the cadets(NCOs) and the cadets acted as though they were hit by a shockwave, fell back and twitched/trembled on the ground. LOL!That was funny! Finally it was time for the grand finale, everybody except the NCOs and the guests sat by the steps of the stage and sang I'm Yours by Jason Mraz. Halfway through the NCOs joined in. We took a few pictures, tidied up the hall and went down for some light refreshments in the canteen. After that, we took our bags and left. Station Inspector Ting Yan was jumping and waving goodbye, he was like [jumping and waving] BYE BYE!!!! for some time. I think it was the Quenton syndrome (causing you to be very enthu). Surprisingly, I didn't cry, but during the full dress rehearsal, I felt like crying, strange right? I miss the whole lot of them.
